Privacy, in plain language.

What stays on your device

The extension stores your reading profile, per-site on/off choices, and the most recently extracted article in your browser’s local extension storage. This data is used only to provide the reader experience. It is not transmitted to us.

What this website collects

This static website includes no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, cookies, account system, or remote fonts. Standard infrastructure logs may temporarily record an IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp for security and reliability.

Permissions

The extension requests local storage, active-tab, and scripting permissions. Active-tab access begins only when you choose the extension on the current page. It is used to extract readable content from that page; the extension does not monitor browsing in the background.

Control and deletion

Export your profile from the settings screen whenever you like. Removing the extension deletes its local storage through your browser. You can also replace site choices inside extension settings.

Children and sensitive data

The service is a general-purpose reading utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Please do not place confidential information in profile names.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be published here with a new effective date. Questions can be raised through the project’s public GitHub issue tracker.
